Lily had been coming to group for months, relying on the people here to get her through the darkest days after her husband’s death. But somehow she’d been reluctant to come tonight. Knowing Maggie counted on her had been the main reason she decided to show. Bone tired, all she wanted to do was climb in bed. With a jolt, she realized it had been quite a while since she cried herself to sleep.
“Lil? You with us?”
Lily realized Taralyn had called her name. She blinked. “Oh, sorry. What?”
“I asked if you had anything to share with Brigit,” Taralyn said.
